CRISIS SUPPORTS

 LETSS, is a non-crisis free call afterhour's phone and web-chat service that offers information, navigation, and support for anyone with any mental health care concerns. However, if you are feeling suicidal, or at risk to yourself or to someone else it can be helpful to have a list of crisis supports you can contact. Check out some of the services below which are general crisis support services.

1800 Respect

1800 is a confidential information, counselling, and support service that is open 24 hours to support people impacted by sexual assault, domestic or family violence. Contact 1800 Respect at 1800 737 732 or chat online with counsellor via their website at https://www.1800respect.org.au/

Beyond Blue

Beyond Blue is here to listen, provide information, and advice. All calls and chat are taken by a trained mental health professional and completely confidential. Contact Beyond Blue at 1300 224 636 (24 hour/7 days a week) or chat with them online via their website https://www.beyondblue.org.au/get-support/get-immediate-support

Lifeline Australia

LifeLine provides all Australians who are experiencing a personal crisis with 24 hour access to crisis support and suicide prevention services. Contact lifeline at 13 11 14.

Suicide Call Back Service

Suicide Call Back Service is a nationwide service that provides 24/7 telephone and online counselling for people who are at risk of suicide or those bereaved by suicide. Kids Helpline

The Kids Helpline provides real time phone and online crisis support for kids, teens, young adults, parents, carers, schools, and teachers. Contact Kids Helpine at 1800 551 800 or chat to someone online via their website https://kidshelpline.com.au/

MensLine

MensLine is a telephone and online counselling service that is for men with family and relationship concerns. Talk to them anytime and anywhere via telephone counselling on 1300 789 978 or chat with someone online via their website https://mensline.org.au/phone-and-online-counselling/

Samaritans Crisis Line

The Samaritans Crisis Line is an anonymous, non-religious, non-judgemental helpline that provides emotional support and counselling over the phone. They are open 24 hours and can be reached at 135 247 (24 hours)

Mental Health Triage

The SA Health Mental Health Triage operates 24 hours, 7 days a week and can provide advice and information in a mental health emergency or crisis situation. Mental Health Triage can also access and refer to acute response teams if appropriate. Mental Health Triage can be reached at 13 14 65
