What to do when you have nothing to do....

What to do when you have nothing to do....

If you're like me, you might find it hard to get motivated to get out the house or step away from everyday life. I know sometimes I get stuck in the rut of routine and realise that I have not done anything for myself for a while.

If your trying to be a more social person and have a bit more human interaction, small steps can be good – any of these activities can have a friend added!

Go for a walk around your neighbourhood – discover cool things you haven't found before!

I like to do this often, and It is quite nice to get out and walk down streets you wouldn't usually, or smell different smells that you haven't before! (or inspiration for tomorrow nights dinner!)

Watch the sunset

If you live near the beach, this is an added bonus! If you don't, that's ok, because you get to have a little adventure, whether you take public transport or drive, it's nice to get out and see other neighbourhoods. There is always something magical about watching the sunset, icecream in hand.

Have a picnic

Bring a friend or a book! Make sure there's cheese and crackers!

Learn basics of another language

There are lots of ways to do this, but this is an easy fun way! For this one you will need a label maker and google translate. Find what the word 'the hallway' is in French > (it is 'le couloir') so print this on your label and put on your hallway light switch.

The more you label round your house, the more you learn!

TV Binge time

You know that show everyone has been talking about, but you just haven't got to it yet…. Well now's the time! If you don't have Netflix, pop past the library to see what series titles they have on dvd.
